India has recorded 822,603 cases and 22,144 deaths from novel coronavirus around 12:25 am as of Saturday, according to latest data from worldometer.
So far, 516,206 patients have been declared recovered from the contagious virus while 284,253 are active cases, the source said.
Among the active cases, the number of critical patients are 8,944.
With the new tally in the 24 hours, 26,998 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus while 512 patients died, and 20,158 patients have made full recovery.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus death toll has reached 5,62,913 as 1,26,31,734 people have been infected worldwide till Saturday afternoon (July 11, Bangladesh Time).
A total of 73,67,490 people have recovered worldwide from the disease, according to worldometer.
A total of 213 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.
The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
