The religious affairs ministry has invited applications from the interested persons as the passenger quota under government management for Hajj travel 2019 is still vacant.
Aspiring pilgrims can apply for registration till Mar 21, said a notice issued by the ministry on Tuesday (Mar 12).
The applications have to be addressed to the director of Hajj office, Dhaka.

Passengers’ passports must be submitted by Mar 20, for verification.
The registration process for Hajj pilgrims’ traveling under government management started on Feb 14.
Each of the pilgrims has to count Tk 4,18,500 to Tk 3,44,000 in two packages under government management whereas the amount stands at minimum Tk 3,44,000 under private management.
Hajj is likely to be held on Aug 10 this year, but is subject to sighting of the moon.
This year, 1,27,198 pilgrims from Bangladesh can perform Hajj.
