China reported 202 new cases on Sunday in an outbreak of the coronavirus. Another 42 deaths were reported in mainland China, where the epidemic has been concentrated.
The updates bring mainland China’s totals to 80,026 cases and 2,912 deaths in the 24 hours.
South Korea reported 476 new cases of infection, bringing its total to 4,212. It also confirmed 22 deaths so far as one more dies in last 24 hours.
Besides, USA reported nine new cases with one more death. Indonesia also first ever confirmed two cases of coronavirus infection.
The coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 68 countries and territories around the world and 1 international conveyance (the Diamond Princess cruise ship harbored in Yokohama, Japan).
With this, the total number of deaths reached 3,053 with 44 new cases in the 24 hours. Some 689 new cases of infection were confirmed, bringing the total to 89,077. Of them 45,146 were recovered.
