China reported 435 new cases on Wednesday in an outbreak of the coronavirus. Another 32 deaths were reported in mainland China, where the epidemic has been concentrated.
The updates bring mainland China’s totals to 78,499 cases and 2,747 deaths in the 24 hours.
Also on Thursday, South Korea reported 334 more new cases, bringing its total to 1595 and one more death pushing the toll to 13.
Besides, Japan reported 17 more news cases in last 24 hours.
The novel coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 49 countries and territories around the world and 1 international conveyance (the “Diamond Princess” cruise ship harbored in Yokohama, Japan).
With this, the total number of deaths reached 2,804 in the 24 hours until midnight. Some 787 new cases of infection were confirmed, bringing the total to 82,184. Of them 30,901 were recovered.
