China reported 119 new cases on Wednesday (March 4) in an outbreak of the coronavirus. Another 38 deaths were reported in mainland China, where the epidemic has been concentrated.
The updates bring mainland China’s totals to 80,270 cases and 2,981 deaths in the 24 hours.
South Korea reported 142 new cases of infection, bringing its total to 5,328. It also confirmed 33 deaths so far one more dies in last 24 hours.
In last 24 hours, India reported 15 new cases of infection while Australia and Canada confirmed three news cases each. Besides, the USA reported two more cases.
The coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 80 countries and territories around the world and 1 international conveyance (the Diamond Princess cruise ship harbored in Yokohama, Japan).
With this, the total number of deaths reached 3,203 with 39 new cases in the 24 hours. Some 284 new cases of infection were confirmed, bringing the total to 93,186. Of them 50,976 were recovered.
