Around 7,000 more people died from Covid-19 (coronavirus) disease in the last 24 hours, raising the global death toll to 1,91,422 till Friday afternoon (Bangladesh Time).
Besides, a total of, 27,36,173 people have been infected and 7,51,799 have recovered worldwide from the disease, according to worldometer.
Of those infected, 17,92,952 are currently being treated and 58,688 of them are in serious or critical condition.
A total of 210 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.
In USA, 886,709 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 50,243 people have died and 85,922 people have recovered.
In Italy, 189,973 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 25,549 people have died and 57,576 people have recovered.
In Spain, 213,024 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 22,157 have died and 89,250 people have recovered.
In France, 158,183 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 21,856 patients have died and 42,088 patients have recovered.
In UK, 138,078 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 18,738 patients have died.
In China, 82,804 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 4,632 patients have died and 77,257 patients have recovered.
In India, 23,502 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 722 patients have died and 5,012 patients have recovered.
In Bangladesh, 4,689 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 131 patients have died and 112 patients have recovered.
The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
