India has reported 182,490 cases and 5,186 deaths from coronavirus till Sunday afternoon, according to latest data from worldometer.
While 86,984 have recovered from the disease, 90,320 are active cases, the source reported.
Most of India’s Covid-19 cases and deaths have been reported from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh as the Centre extended the nationwide lockdown to June 30 but also allowed the resumption of some activities that had remained shut till now.
Maharastra continues to be the worst-affected state and has the highest number of infections at 65,168, including 2,197 fatalities.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus (Covid-19) death toll has climbed to 3,71,175 worldwide till Sunday afternoon.
A total of 61,72,328 people have been infected and 27,43,911 people have recovered worldwide from the disease, according to latest data from worldometer.
A total of 213 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.
The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
