India crossed 4 lakh novel coronavirus cases today on a day the country reported over 14,000 cases, in its highest single-day jump.
With total 4,11,773 cases, India has the world’s fourth highest number behind the United States, Brazil and Russia.
As many as 333 fatalities were reported in the same time period, taking the death toll to 13,281, according to latest data from worldometer.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus (Covid-19) death toll has climbed to 4,66,871 worldwide till Sunday afternoon.
A total of 89,22,073 people have been infected and 47,43,658 people have recovered worldwide from the disease, according to latest data from worldometer.
A total of 213 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.
The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
