This year’s Summit addressed business leadership during converging crises, the critical role of a principles-based approach, global trends, and tools and partnerships needed to fully achieve the 2030 Agenda. The converging crises of climate change, a deadly global pandemic, worsening social and economic inequality, unchecked corruption and the devastating consequences of the war in Ukraine have caused unprecedented disruption and global transformation. UN Secretary-General António Guterres recently warned that “halfway to the deadline for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, we are leaving more than half the world behind.” This dramatic rise of interlinked global challenges is forcing business leaders to navigate new levels of uncertainty, propelling executives into broader leadership capacities both by business necessity and by rising societal expectations. Against this backdrop, how is the C-suite navigating these issues while keeping its sustainability commitments on track? Where does the responsibility for meeting these goals lie? And when and how are sustainability strategies integrated across functions and teams? The world is not on track as we approach the mid-point of implementing the 2030 Agenda. The converging crises of climate change, a deadly global pandemic, worsening social and economic inequality, unchecked corruption and the devastating consequences of the war in Ukraine have caused unprecedented disruption and global transformation. Now more than ever, there is an opportunity for business leaders to engage with the United Nations, Governments, and civil society to navigate these challenges and accelerate the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Alongside the SDG Summit 2023, during the UN General Assembly High-Level Week, this year’s UN Global Compact Leaders Summit will convene business leaders, UN officials, Government leaders, SDG stakeholders, and civil society professionals from across the globe to comprehensively review the private sector’s contribution to advancing the SDGs. The Summit will address business leadership during converging crises, the critical role of a principles-based approach, global trends, and tools and partnerships needed to achieve the 2030 Agenda fully. This inclusive day-long event aims to inspire and challenge organizations to move forward faster by setting measurable, credible, and ambitious targets aligned with calls to action in five systematic areas — gender equality, and climate.

Message from the CEO

On Internatonal Women’s Day

The mankind will not exist if there is no woman on this planet .Nature gave this power to woman to carry the source of existence. In today’s world even there are lots of awareness and activities to protect the rights of women there are still many evidence of discrimination and abuse for women . Women are still facing difficulties to live a decent and happy life . The physical or gender differences should not matter , what is most important is that we are all human being and Humanity is above all .
