United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres lauded socio-economic development of Bangladesh in a meeting with Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque in New York.
Besides, António Guterres commended Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for sheltering Rohingya refugees, the meeting also said as it took place on Thursday (February 28).
UN Secretary-General also expressed his concern for resolution to this long-term Rohingya crisis, according to a press release of the Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the United Nations sent on Friday (March 1).
