United States capital city Washington DC has declared March 26, 2019 as ‘Bangladesh Day’, commemorating 48th anniversary of Bangladesh’s Independence Day.
US embassy here issued a press release in this regard.
Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser made the declaration, it said.
“NOW, THEREFORE, I, THE MAYOR OF WASHINGTON, DC, congratulate the Ambassador and all the people of Bangladesh on this special occasion, and hereby declare March 26, 2019, as “BANGLADESH DAY”,” it added.
