Fire at clothing warehouse kills five in India

Five labourers have been killed in a massive fire that broke out on Thursday at a clothing warehouse in a village near Pune, reports NDTV.

They were asleep in a room when the fire broke out at around 5 am at the warehouse in Uruli Devachi village, news agency IANS reported quoting an official of Pune Police (Rural).

Four fire tenders were dispatched to the spot and tamed the blaze. The injured have been admitted to a hospital.

The cause of fire is yet to be confirmed.
