International Organization for Business and Engineering (IOBE) has partnered with “She Loves Tech” and hosting the regional round of the China based startup competition in Bangladesh on July 5.
“She Loves Tech” is the world’s largest startup competition focused on women and technology.
In regional round of She Loves Tech, one team will be selected from Bangladesh to compete in the global round in Beijing, China. A jury board consisting of industry’s pioneering experts will be conducting the whole selection process from the beginning to the end according to the rules and regulations of She Loves Tech.
IOBE Chairman Arnill Ashraf said: “International Organization for Business and Engineering is working as a bridge between local startups and foreign venture capital firms in Bangladesh and it will provide various opportunities including investments, mentorship and access to foreign venture capitals to the regional finalists”.
IOBE is looking for (a) early-stage tech startups with a viable product which has completed its conceptual stage (MVP), (b) have only raised under 5 million USD, and (c) fulfill one of the following criteria:
* Has a significant proportion of female end-users/consumers
* Has a product specifically designed for women
* Has at least one female entrepreneur in the founding team
The global winner will receive an equity-free cash prize of US$15,000.
