An Asian Development Bank (ADB) report released on Wednesday (June 19) said Bangladesh has topped the list of fastest growing economies among 45 Asia-Pacific nations, for the fiscal year 2018.
Bangladesh acquired 7.9 percent economic growth in that FY, stated ‘Asian Development Outlook’ magazine.
ADB predicted that Bangladesh’s GDP growth rate will reach 8 percent in FY 2019 and FY 2020.
“Bangladesh will continue to be the fastest in the Asia-Pacific,” ADP added in the report.
